Yahya is having 16 year experience in the Marine industry as ship’s officer onboard the vessel up to the rank of first maritime officer. After his carrier at Sea , he worked in Maritime consulting, especially in risks analysis and technical aspect. During his carrier in Maritime Consulting & Survey Company , he has Investigated various incidents for reporting evident, cause of incident, extent of damage, costing and recommend any preventive actions. He ordinarily, concerned and compliance with International codes, marine standard, rules/regulation. In 2016 , he established his own Cargo & Marine Survey Company.

WORK EXPERIENCES

1994 – 2010 , Worked onboard merchant/Ocean going cargo vessels from the Rank of Apprentice Officer all the way up to the Rank of Master. Mostly works on board foreign flag vessels. The vessel sailed the seven seas and visited ports around the world. Various of type vessel served during the period such as Tanker, General cargo, Passenger, Bulk Carrier and included Cement Carrier and also on dredging vessel.
2011 Up to 2014 , As Operation Manager in PT. OCEANWISE INDONESIA, JAKARTA, Independent Marine Surveyor Company. Quantity, quality and cargo condition survey; Pre-purchase and appraisal condition vessel; Port Captaincy; Survey & Reporting and/or recommendation on marine /accident/insurance and PNI Cases; Marine consulting; Nautical Inspection; Draught Survey Inspector; Operational Cost Control; Salvage Advisor.
2014 up to 2016, As Managing Director in PT. OCEANWISE INDONESIA, JAKARTA.
2016 up to now , Founder and Director in PT. AURORA SAMUDERA PERDANA, JAKARTA.

• Investigate of collision of the vessels
• Salvage and refloating assessment for grounded vessels
• P & I Pre Entry condition survey to the general cargo vessel, Container vessel, Break bulk vessel and tanker vessel.
• Bunker supervision survey
• Verify the incident report from vessels and prosecute the claim documents to opponent, underwriter or P & I Club.
• Marine consulting for development vessel maintenance program in compliance with local and international rules such as CLASS, SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO, ISM CODE
